Privacy policy
This is a plain statement of what VulaPhumelela does with the information you send through this website. It is written to be accurate rather than exhaustive, and it is kept short on purpose.

Who this covers
VulaPhumelela is a sole operator based in Fourways, Johannesburg. There is no company registration number to quote and no separate data department. Enquiries about your information go to one person, at vulaphumelela@gmail.com.
What information is collected
Only what you type into a form on this site:
- Your name
- Your firm name and firm type
- Your area or suburb
- Your work email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to provide it
- Whatever you write in the enquiry message
This site does not use analytics, advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts. No cookies are set by VulaPhumelela. Nothing is recorded about you unless you submit a form.
Why it is collected
To reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and arrange a demonstration if you asked for one. That is the only purpose. Your details are not used for anything else.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are handled by Netlify, the hosting provider for this website, and are held in the VulaPhumelela account there. A copy may also arrive by email notification. Netlify operates its own infrastructure and privacy terms, which apply in addition to this policy.
Who has access
The VulaPhumelela founder only. No staff, no contractors, no agencies. Your details are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party.
How long it is kept
For as long as is reasonable to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows from it. If an enquiry does not lead anywhere, the record is deleted once it is clearly no longer relevant. If you ask for it to be deleted sooner, it is deleted.
Marketing
Submitting a form does not add you to a mailing list. VulaPhumelela does not run a newsletter and will not add you to one without asking you separately.
Asking for access or deletion
Email vulaphumelela@gmail.com and ask. You can request a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. No reason is required and there is no charge.
About POPIA
South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act sets out how personal information should be handled. This policy describes genuine practice and is written with those principles in mind. VulaPhumelela does not claim POPIA certification, and does not claim that this document constitutes full legal compliance. It is an honest description of what actually happens to your information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
